It is natural to want to know how much it will cost you in electricity and chemicals to keep a hot tub. You will discover quoted running costs of hot tubs to be varied. The main way in which a hot tub loses heat, is when the cover is off and you are using it. We therefore believe, that in our experience, it will cost you around £1 a day* to power a hot tub, based on using it for 20 minutes 2-3 times a week. It will be less in the summer and more in the winter & if you opt for a larger spa, it is likely to be slightly higher – but this is will give you an indication of the cost.
When you purchase your Jacuzzi, we will provide you with a box of chemicals in your delivery pack, which will last you around 3 months. Using chlorine or bromine to sanitise your hot tub, will cost you around £100 a year. Aquafinesse is £84.99 and will last between 3-6 months.
Jacuzzi® hot tubs are fitted with a ClearRay® ozonator bulb, this will need to be replaced once and year and costs £75.
