Director, Sapphire Spas & Partner, Ruggles Leisure – Keith is behind the scenes for most of the time, making sure everything runs smoothly and people are looked after. What he doesn’t know about hot tubs isn’t worth knowing!
Director, Sapphire Spas Ltd – Andy runs the West Midlands branch in Meriden. He is able to quickly build rapport with everyone who enters the showroom and has excellent product knowledge.
Partner, Ruggles Leisure & Creative/Social Manager, Sapphire Leisure – You may not see Lisa in the showrooms much, but if you follow us on social media, you will get to know her well. Venus Influential Business Woman finalist 2014 & the force behind being the only hot tub retailer *in a Jeremy Clarkson accent* in the world to be chosen by Theo Paphitis (Rymans, Robert Dyas & Boux Avenue Owner).
Delivery & Servicing Manager– James is responsible for managing the delivery team and does an excellent job of it too. He is ultra enthusiastic and likes to make sure customers are happy with our service.
Delivery & Servicing Technician – Paul is one of our newest team members, yet you wouldn’t know it. He has a great knowlege of looking after the hot tubs and loves chatting to customers.
Delivery Assistant – Zeeks is the youngest and tallest member of our team. He helps out during the holidays and at weekends.
Bicester Showroom Manager – Gina can be found in our hot tub showroom in Oxfordshire. She can talk you through the ranges of hot tubs we sell and advise you on chemicals and accessories.
Maidstone Branch Manager – Derek and his wife Jennifer are our managers at our hot tub showroom in Kent. Derek will be able to guide you around the hot tubs and provide you with informative advice on chemicals and accessories.
Maidstone Branch Manager – Jennifer will offer you informative advice on choosing the right hot tub for your lifestyle and how to look after it once it has been installed.
Delivery Technician – Kenny helps us out with deliveries and servicing. He is very sociable and excellent at training customers how to use their hot tubs safely.
Established in 2004, we continually adapt and adjust what we do to make sure you receive the type of service you want to tell your friends and family about.
We will respond quickly to your service request to ensure you enjoy as much time as possible in your hot tub. We are always happy to offer advice and training over the phone.
We are always on the look out for ways to help save you time, money and enjoy maximum pleasure from your hot tub – whether that be a maintenance tip or a new product – we try and test everything so we can speak from experience.

We aim to ensure every point of contact with us is pleasurable. We try to explain procedures and products without using technical jargon or insulting your intelligence.
Every company has a story of how they have got to where they are today. We’re no different. What started as a bit of a gamble back in 2004, has developed into a thriving hot tub business.
Keith and Andy started the company in July 2004, with a website, a small showroom in Bicester and a container of hot tubs from Sapphire Spas in Australia. By the time the container had landed in the UK, every one was sold. This was the story for quite a number of years. The showroom is Gloucester opened in 2006 and Maidstone in 2007. We had dealers in Leicester, Northallerton and Glasgow. Sapphire Spas, with their real wood cedar cabinets, were very popular, but the exchange rate was increasingly making the hot tubs too expensive to import.
Working with a manufacturer, we began importing our own brand of hot tub, Olympic Spas. This enabled us to continue selling hot tubs for £2,995, but meant we could no longer call ourselves Sapphire Spas. Under Sapphire Leisure, we were invited to become an authorised retailer for Jacuzzi® hot tubs. It was definitely at the right time, as the lower end of the hot tub market was hit by the recession, causing many of our competitors to cease trading.
Took over the Gloucester showroom in 2013. Still working alongside Sapphire Leisure, Ruggles Leisure brought a few finer touches to the hot tub market. Ruggles Leisure wan the prestigious #SBS award from Theo Paphitis in 2014 and owner Lisa was a finalist for Influential Business Woman of the Year.
After much discussion and thought, we have decided it is going to much better for our customers, suppliers and employees, if we work together under one name – Sapphire Leisure – in the future. This pools all our resources, buying power and effort together in the hope that we are able to provide an enhanced service to our customers.
With showrooms in Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, West Midlands and Kent , we aim to be the South of England’s first port of call for anything hot tub related. Quite a challenge we’ve set ourselves, but one in which we hope to achieve.
